Education and Research
Guide Star No. :
AIM for Seva's approach is primarily to help children in tribal and rural areas break free from the bondage of poverty and to become useful citizens of their local communities and the nation. The project aims to overcome two obstacles faced by the Indian educational system: access to education and high drop out rates. By building homes close to exsisting schools, reducing the need to invest in new schools. Through homestay, more students gain access to school.
Aim For Seva caters to 3700 children across 16 states of India. Since its inception, AIM for Seva has reported: 100 projects in 100 months or nearly a project for every month of the year, all through public subscription and donations. The vision is by 2020, to set up 200 more FSH, 25 per year in the country’s most backward regions.
