MANAVLOK aims to solve the socio-economic problems of the community and to provide a better life by community-based monitoring of programmes of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), watershed development programmes, Krushak Panchayat, Project ‘Navnirman’, Know your Customer Programmes, Manaswini Mahila Prakalp (Women empowerment providing shelter home, free legal aid centre, training centre), domestic violence & gender sensitization, Jansahayog, Social Work College, SHG’s, sanitation, relief services for the victims of natural disaster, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation of Government programmes. It’s project “Navnirman” was started to overcome drought. ‘Drought Relief Programme’ has been undertaken by ‘River Rejuvenation Project’ in Holna river and its tributaries.
14,000 tree saplings were planted across diffferent villages. ‘Community Kitchen’ was started in 11 village in drought prone areas. 255 farmers from 42 villages were provided with drips and sprinklers on free loan basis through the Manavlok Organisation. Manavlok helped 986 families from 45 villages in purchasing new LPG connection. Through ‘Krushak Panchayat’ it supplies poor farmers with seeds and fertilizers at basic rates. Toys were distributed among 22 Zilla Parishad Schools in the Ambajogai and Kaij Block with the support of “Toy Bank” Mumbai. ‘Jansahayog’ is a branch of Manavlok working for the benefit of the downtrodden by utilising government schemes. Manavlok organizes a Mass Marriage event annually. It is permitted and authorized by government of Maharashtra to run schools.
