It works with vulnerable children that need care and protection. It has a residential care facility and several community-based programmes. It has a unique project called ‘Project YUVA’ through which it has worked with adolescents in the entire district. The goal for the next five years is to reach one million citizens, educating and empowering them about issues pertaining to adolescents.
Started a vocational educational institute in partnership with Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, offering a one year diploma course in Geriatric caretaking. Partnering with a UK based NGO called 'Railway Children' after being through their due diligence which included 40 different local NGOs. This work includes rescuing and rehabilitating vulnerable children from local railway stations.
